Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

To assist the Field Service team both in-house and on site with services
The incumbent is required to employ his trade skills and experience in the servicing, repairs and maintenance of mechanical equipment
Carry out on work that may not specifically relate to bearings such as, Materials Handling, Drive repairs, Condition Monitoring, mechanical fitting etc
Carry out all work in accordance with legislative norms and engineering standards
Maintain trade tools and general equipment in good order
Maintain the work environment in a clean state and to a safe standard.
General housekeeping
Assist with mechanical product installations
Assist with mechanical services and maintenance

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Experience in fitting and maintenance in Mining and Engineering field
Valid driver’s license
Must be willing and able to work both on surface and underground in a mining environment
Able to undergo and pass a medical fitness examination
